Chakras are energy centers in your body that connect your material self to the nonphysical. There are seven main chakras out of a total of one hundred and fourteen. These seven main chakras run along your spine, and they each manifest a different color. These colors represent distinct kinds of energies.
Chakras can become imbalanced through experiencing physical, emotional & mental, and or spiritual issues. There are many different things that you can do to balance your chakras. For example, working with crystals is a great way to help balance them. Crystals also vibrate at different rates and colors. You can place the crystals on your chakras and match them with the same colors.
Let’s dive a little into these seven main chakras and their particular colors…
Let’s start at the base of your spine, where you will find your root chakra. It vibrates red and represents family and community identity. Your root chakra relates to staying grounded and feeling safe and secure. Imbalances in this chakra may lead to having security issues and problems with the legs and feet.
Then comes your sacral chakra. This chakra’s color is orange and sits at your belly button. Your sacral chakra is the source of prosperity, personal power, and creativity. An imbalanced sacral chakra can cause lower back, abdominal, digestive, and sexual organs problems.
Up next is your solar plexus chakra. This chakra is associated with the color yellow and is found right below your sternum. Your solar plexus chakra is related to your self-esteem and boundaries. Imbalances in this chakra may bring out issues in the lower part of the mid-back, the pancreas, and urinary system.
Moving on to the fourth chakra, the heart chakra! Located in the center of your chest and its color is green. This chakra has to do with compassion, kindness, unconditional love, and forgiveness. An imbalanced heart chakra could cause physical issues in the ribs, lungs, and heart.
The succeeding chakra is the throat chakra. This chakra vibrates blue and is right above your Adam’s apple. It relates to speaking your truth and surrendering to Divine guidance. An imbalance in the throat chakra may cause issues in your thyroid, throat, and mouth.
Then comes the third eye chakra. It is located at the center of the forehead and is associated with the color indigo. It represents your intuition, perception, and higher consciousness. An imbalanced third eye chakra can lead to issues such as headaches, vision problems, and difficulty concentrating. Balancing this chakra can lead to a greater sense of clarity, insight, and spiritual awareness.
Last but not least, the crown chakra, found at the top of your head vibrating white. This chakra relates to your higher self and Divinity. An imbalance in this chakra can bring systemic issues and musculoskeletal disorders.
I hope this information brings you as much insight as to when I first learned about the chakras! I have slowly learned to understand more clearly things happening inside of me and around me. Having a good understanding of how your chakras work can help you improve many areas of your physical and spiritual life. This knowledge will forever elevate your vibes!
