What Stops Us From Making Changes? Overcome The Fear of Change!

What Stops Us From Making Changes? Overcome The Fear of Change!

I’ll start this Monday…

We’ve all been there!

I am pretty sure we have all had the desire to make a change at one point or another in our lives but failed to give what it takes. Today I want to expand a little on what is stopping us from making those much-needed changes in our lives.

Everyone desires a healthier life with happier outcomes; To achieve this, we must commit to leaving our past behind, including our old self and all the negative talk.

Unfortunately, our past not always carries the best memories and experiences. It also includes things that have happened to us that made us suffer, causing us to hold on to certain emotions that hold us back in life. These emotions may be producing negative beliefs about yourself or a specific goal. These limiting beliefs may damper your ability to believe in yourself and thrive in life. We must learn to use these feelings to our advantage, taking only the positive and leaving behind what is no longer serving us.

Healing from past experiences allows you to be more present, focusing on what is and not on what could’ve been. That’s how you create and manifest anything you want in your reality!

There are also other reasons why it is hard for people to change; For instance, habits! By the time we turn 35 years old, we have become a set of unconscious programs. These programs have been created by you, your past experiences, and your habits. If you realize you are the creator of your world and take the actions necessary to reprogram your mind, then you become capable of creating anything in your life, including bringing about change!

Change not always comes easy & it takes a lot of devotion to better yourself. Realize that any negative attitude or pattern we repeat in our lives programs our brains. That is how we tune in to a good or bad, new future.

Change can be daunting for many of us, and the older we get, the worst it may seem. So let’s dive into some steps we can all take to overcome the fear of change!

Start by learning the symptoms of stress so when they arise, you know how to combat them. Take small steps every day towards your new goal. No matter how tiny they may seem, what matters is that you stay focused on that precise intent! Work yourself up to taking bigger steps once you are more comfortable.

Build trust in yourself and your abilities. Take the time to get to know yourself well, meditate daily and take good care of your body. These practices will elevate your energies and help with positive thinking. Having a daily meditation practice provides a relaxing and calming technique for when you need it in life.

Look forward to new experiences in your life with joy and not with fear. It is ok to feel scared since this is part of being human. But do not let that anxiety overpower you! Always remember, you are in control of your body and mind, not the other way around! So tell your body what to do and program your mind with what to think. Stick to thinking consistent positive thoughts and remind yourself that you came into this planet to evolve, so change is a normal part of life!

Failure is inevitable. But if we see it as something positive that allows us to see what needs to change in our lives, we can use it to our advantage! Be responsible, stay committed to improving yourself, celebrate every little success, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone!
